Build your Dragon Ball and One Piece crew in MultiVerse Tactics, our free anime auto battler for fans of Teamfight Tactics (TFT). Or change the rules with friends in ValoFlex.
Choose a Captain and recruit your Dragon Ball and One Piece crew. Your team battles automatically; you decide who joins, where they stand, and how they grow.
01 · RECRUIT
Find your fighters
Spend gold in the shop to recruit fighters like Goku, Vegeta, Luffy and Ace. Look for teammates who share traits, and keep room on your bench for upgrades.
02 · POSITION
Set your formation
Put durable fighters in front and protect your damage dealers behind them. Watch the battle, scout your rivals, and adjust your lineup between rounds.
03 · UPGRADE
Power up your crew
Combine three matching copies to increase a fighter's star level. Forge items and choose augments that make your team stronger.
LEAD THE FIGHT
Take control of your Captain
Fight for recruits in Captain Recruitment. In Captain Clash, use Quick and Heavy attacks, Guard, a Signature and an Ultimate. Story boss encounters bring another challenge between team fights.
KEEP LEARNING
Build your next winning team
Explore fighters and star-level stats or compare the tier list. Simulated rankings are a starting point; traits, positioning and equipment shape each fight. The in-game Learn to Play menu has guided practice.
Meet the Captains
Pick one when you press Play: your Captain fights the Clash for you.
Yes. This is a free, non-commercial fan game that runs in your browser. Play solo or online; no game download is needed.
Is MultiVerse Tactics like Teamfight Tactics (TFT)?
If you enjoy Teamfight Tactics (TFT), the focus on recruiting fighters, positioning a team, combining duplicates and building trait synergies will feel familiar. MultiVerse Tactics brings its own Dragon Ball and One Piece roster, item and augment rules, and interactive Captain encounters. Use MVT’s own guide rather than copying a TFT composition unchanged.
Teamfight Tactics is a Riot Games title. MultiVerse Tactics is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Riot Games.
Do I need an account?
You can play solo or join casual online matches as a guest. Ranked play requires a verified account. CPUs fill any remaining places in online lobbies.
Is this an official Dragon Ball or One Piece game?
No. MultiVerse Tactics is an independent fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by the franchises' creators or rights holders. See the fan-project notice below.
The big changes to MultiVerse Tactics, newest first. “Next update” is what the coming release brings; dated entries are released updates.
Next update
Know why you won or lost
Battle Breakdown: after each fight, the Damage tab opens with what decided it (when your frontline fell, how your top damage dealer did, leapers on your back row, their carry) and, after a loss, one or two things you could try. A dot on the tab says a new one is ready, and your Captain adds a line in their own voice. Switch it off in Settings.
Tactical Read: a switch over the board while planning shows what your formation does as the fight starts: where your next opponent's Assassins land and beside whom, a ranged fighter standing in your front row, and whom an opening aura reaches. It reads the game's own rules and never moves your fighters.
New challenge, Protect the Carry: in Learn to Play, arrange a board so your damage dealer survives two leaping Assassins. Replay it as often as you like.
Two Silver augments brought in line, and the boss fight's arrows moved
Boss fights
The arrows stand clear: in Raditz's and Buggy's fights, the arrow to press and its closing ring now show beside the fighters, level with them, instead of over the bottom panel and their feet. On a phone held upright they sit just under the fighters.
Augments
Ponyglyph Rubbing now gives a random 2-cost fighter and 4 gold (was a 3-cost fighter and 8 gold).
Senzu Bean Hoarder now gives 1 Senzu Bean and 10 health (was 2 beans and 20 health).
Both were worth about as much as a Gold augment in whole games; they now sit with the other Silvers. Lone Wolf and the Captain Clash's rewards were checked too and stay as they are.
Everyone's banners, shorter augment cards and better finale rewards
Profiles & results
See each other's banners: the banner a player picks now shows behind them in the lobby, on the leaderboards, in match results and when you tap them to scout their board, not just their icon.
Banners always show their character in full on your profile and the leaderboards, with your stats moved clear of the art.
Unlocks revealed: when you earn a new banner or icon, it pops up after the match (or when you next open the game) with a button to equip it.
More to collect: 16 new banners and 85 new profile icons (123 icons in all, 38 free). New ways to unlock them: wins as a given Captain, casual wins, ranked games and top fours, wins with 50+ health left, augments taken and level 9 finishes, all counted from your past matches. Locked ones show how far along you are, and the Ember Pirate banner now takes Ace to 3★ in 10 matches.
A cleaner results screen: the summary, Casual Reputation and match highlights each fit on one line (hover a highlight for its details), and every fighter on a board fits without scrolling.
Augments & rewards
Shorter augment cards: every card now reads like TFT's, one or two short lines with its numbers. Hover a card for its full rules.
Stage finales pay better: beating a stage's finale squad now guarantees a finished item from stage 3 (it was stage 5), so clearing Baroque Works is worth it.
Phones
Clash and recruitment controls you can tap: the four pads are buttons laid out for two thumbs (Power Up and Guard on the left, Quick and Heavy on the right); swiping the board still works. The augment picker scrolls on short screens, the home tabs fit the width, and long names on the leaderboard no longer break mid-word.
Jiren joins the shop, 3★ balance and a fair start against the CPUs
CPUs
The CPU players no longer get a head start: through stages 2 and 3 their boards grow at the same pace as yours.
CPUs play the new augments smarter, from Component Compass to The Eternal Dojo.
Augments
Endless Training is back: no XP for gold, levels from the rounds alone, and every fighter that helps take an enemy down grows 1% stronger for good, up to 8 times.
Disciple's Graduation: the master pick no longer disappears when your master levels up or is sold.
Recruiter's Network now pays 8 gold when you take it (was 4).
Sheath Guard and Swordsman Cleave are no longer offered together.
Counterdraft Protocol is offered at 2-1 and 3-3 only.
Gathered Spirit is now offered at 4-3 as well as 3-3.
Will of the D. Heart now gives a 1★ Ace (was 2★).
Fighters & balance
Jiren joins the shop: a 5-cost Martial Artist and Conqueror, with Power Impact and Omegaheat Magnetron.
3★ fighters toned down: a 3★ now has 2.8× its 1★ health and attack (was 3.3×). 3★ fighters still win most fights, just not almost all of them.
The Captain Recruitment's matching recruit no longer brings a fighter you already hold 6 copies of, so it can't finish a 3★ for you.
3★ Awakenings: five that hit the whole board at full strength now keep their full blow for one target and hit the rest for less: Chiaotzu (40%), Saibaman (60% beyond his blast), Tashigi (one strike each), Tien (a shorter stun) and Future Trunks (70%). They're still the best thing those fighters do.
On the board
Fighters warm up while waiting on the board and bench.
Ranked Ascension, Casual Reputation and 136 new augments
Ranked & casual
Ranked Ascension: play ten Ascension Trials, then your rank is revealed. Six tiers from Silver to the Ascended: ten players at a time, the very best of them Final Form.
Casual Reputation: casual games earn you titles that change with how you play, and Chaos Levels that grow every match, even the wild losses.
New rank emblems for every tier, up to the Ascended and Final Form.
Profile banners and icons: pick a banner and a profile icon for your profile and the leaderboards. Many are free; unlock the rest by playing, such as buying 50 Vegetas, scoring knockouts with Zoro or taking Goku to 3★.
The casual leaderboard shows Hype at a glance: the #1's Performance, Adaptability, Clutch and Creativity on a radar, every player's as bars, plus Chaos levels and recent places.
A new home screen
Pick your Captain from big art cards, choose Ranked, Casual or Solo, then your arena, and play: one clear path on desktop and phone.
Private rooms: create a casual room and share its code or invite link; friends join with it, and you start when everyone's in.
Augment expansion
136 new augments join the 75 you can pick today.
Every trait gets augments built around it, so each class has cards to chase.
New economy and progression cards, and transformative Prismatics that change how a whole run plays.
Fresh icons for the new cards, and a long balance pass across the full list.
Website & guides
A refreshed homepage in the new home screen's look: pick a game and its guide opens right below, with quick jumps to every section.
New beginner, Captain Clash and team-building guides.
Boss fights
Every Captain has an equal chance of facing Buggy or Raditz.
Boss fights get a cinematic camera, toon shading and clearer attack wind-ups. Switch to Board view or Classic shading during the fight.
Augments you can see
Augment moments: combat triggers show named effects, louder by tier (Prismatics get a banner and their own signature effect). Reward cards show augment payouts and send them into your gold, items and rerolls, solo and online.
Augment cards show which of your fighters they work on, and your best augment moment of the run shows on the result screen.
Save a picture of your run from the result screen: your place, best augment moment, final board and augments.
The game's name is now written MultiVerse Tactics everywhere.
New arenas, clearer battles and a Jiren preview
Fighters & arenas
Jiren preview: a full 3D model, crimson attacks and talent artwork. Find him in Champions and the tier list's Soon row; he is not in the shop yet.
U.A. Sports Festival rebuilt with a new fighting platform, academy entrance and stadium backdrop.
New arena: the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, with a marble battlefield, a towering chamber and flowing hourglasses.
Combat & team building
Ginyu Force opening poses start at stage 4; Baroque Works mark a front-line fighter WANTED from stage 5.
Boss reinforcements arrive after a warning: Mr. 0 from stage 7 and Frieza from stage 8. Finish the squad during the warning to stop their arrival.
At stage 9, when Mr. 0 lands, two fallen Baroque Works agents rise from the sand at 25% health.
New trait: Medic (2 / 4). Chopper, Dende, Majin Buu, Law and Whis send one team healing pulse every 6 seconds. Namekian regeneration is reduced.
New augment choices: Frontline Pride, Battle Partners, Last Crew Breathing and Relay of Heroes. Endless Training is held out of new offers.
Read the fight
Fighter cards show live stats, item and trait contributions, active effects and time remaining; inspect fallen fighters and open Details on mobile.
Augment icons show their current state. Open Augment Impact below the damage meter to see what triggered, healed, shielded or dealt damage.
Active shields are visible on every fighter, with bubbles centred on the character.
Knocked out early? See the surviving players' boards and available match details, clearly marked in progress.
Fixed fighters turning invisible, and online fights freezing, when a fight began mid-move or a picture failed to load.
Between rounds
Settings are remembered; augment choices have a longer countdown, and Exit game is available in the menu.
Learn to Play's practice fight is no longer covered by the tutorial card. After the tutorial, Continue to Practice: fight computers with no clock, free rerolls and XP, a bench full of items, and start each next round when you're ready.
Clearer Captain Clash and Recruitment controls, plus a refreshed Recruitment HUD.
CPU opponents keep their items when swapping fighters. Ability, item and augment durations now read in real seconds at normal speed.
Online matches recover stalled round transitions, with additional checks against missing fighters during replay.
Boss loot, tutorials and new models
Beat a stage's boss squad and one of its loot orbs gets upgraded, plus 1 bonus gold. From stage 5 that's always a finished item.
New Learn to Play menu: four short tutorials for the basics, the carousel, Captain Recruitment and the Captain Clash.
Hit and Franky now fight with full 3D models.
Rob Lucci, Goku Black and the Rift Exchange
Rob Lucci (4-cost) joins the shop. At 2★ he takes his Leopard Form.
Goku Black (5-cost) joins the shop. At 2★ he turns Super Saiyan Rosé.
New: the Rift Exchange. At stages 2 and 4, trade one fighter from your bench for one of up to three offers at the same star.
Seven-round stages
Every stage now has seven rounds: four fights against other players, a Captain Recruitment, a Captain Clash and the stage's boss squad.
Shared carousels at 2-6, 3-6 and 4-6.
ValoFlex
The rules are never safe.
